What a season it’s been. On Tuesday 17th October, the fantastic rebel army, Cork City FC were crowned league champions for the first time since 2005.
It was touch and go as to whether the deciding match against Derry City would go ahead after Hurricane Ophelia devastated the country and took half of the Clonakilty branded Derrynane Stand with it!
However Cork City Football Club were not to be stopped. The home game against Derry City, which was originally meant to take place on Monday 16th, went ahead on Tuesday and the fans were out in their thousands.
It was a great moment not only for the team but for the dedicated Cork City Football Club supporters who show up and cheer on their home team season after season. We are extremely proud and delighted to have captured and been part of some of these great moments.
