Did you see Donncha o’ Callaghan put his cooking skills to the test on Wednesday’s episode of The Restaurant on TV3?
Well it seems the rugby legend has good taste as he created a Clonakilty Blackpudding starter served with a fried egg and a homemade Worcestershire sauce.
Donncha mentioned that there are a few things he always has in his bag when he leaves Cork, and Clonakilty Blackpudding is one of them. Yay!
And it seems he’s not the only one who loves a taste of home as The Irish Post released a list of 16 food & drink brands that Irish emigrants miss the most and we’re just chuffed to see Clonakilty Blackpudding on the list!
Despite the fact that there were mixed reviews from the guests and critics on his Clonakilty Blackpudding starter, Donncha recieved an impressive 3 out of 5 stars from the judges coupled with a big high five from us!
